I got to say i was looking forward to your run on Detective Comics because I have enjoyed your writing in the past. I expect a good story. What I did not expect till I picked up was how utterly beautiful the art was. I was floored and reading what all went into the pieces just makes me respect them more. Really brilliant stuff.

Just got the new issue of Detective. It's very good. I'm a traditionalist, I want the original Batman back where he belongs in Detective, and the cynic in me knows he will be back within a year or less, but now rather than anticipating Bruce back under the mask, I'm more worried that when he's brought back it'll push your new creation to the second or third stage. Very good story and art, and I hope we have Batwoman around for a very long time.

Btw, there's a double page spread where she meets Dick/Batman which would make great desktop wallpaper. If I had a scanner I'd make it, you should lobby DC to include it in their wallpapers at their site. Much more striking than the one up at http://www.dccomics.com/dcu/downloads/
