Finishing the last script of the DD arc with Brubaker. It's been fun, and I think this last issue is going to close out the story very well. Have to say, it's been a hoot working with the two of them again.
Couple other points of interest. As has been reported multiple places elsewhere, I wrote one of the pieces of the soon-to-be-released Gotham Knight animated DVD. I did an interview last week through WB about the project, and a nicely cleaned-up version (meaning one where I don't ramble like a bum) went up today on SuperHeroHype.com, for those of you who might have an interest. Thanks to
lithera for pointing it out.
Blair Butler has some very nice things to say about Queen & Country: Definitive Edition - Volume 2 which came out a short while back. ( You can watch her saying this very nice things below the cut. )
I like it when Blair Butler says nice things about my work. It makes me all warm and smiley.

She mentions the first volume of the "Definitive" editions as the last piece of the segment. Kinda makes me want to sit down and start writing series 2. But I can't do that, because I have, like, a half-dozen other projects to clear out or start first, not the least of which is this DAMN NOVEL.
Anyone out there who can link human trafficking in East Africa to the UAE, drop me a line, okay? (And let's face it, it's not very often you hear a request like that get made...at least, not in public.)

The inanity surrounding nookie in Mass Effect has well played out by now, but I'm slow, and only just encountered this.
( Adam Sessler Soapbox from January 28th, video beneath the cut. )
I'm liking G4 more and more these days, and Sessler and Morgan Webb are just two of the many reasons. I like G4's exuberant, gleeful immaturity (and I really do mean that as a wonderful thing -- there's a reason my 8-year old son believes that "butt" is the funniest word in the world. He's right. It is. Just say it aloud. Go on, say it. Say it six times in a row.) and I like their ability to take seriously those things that I'd like to see given their fair shake. C'mon, they've got Blair Butler regularly reviewing comics.
And while Unbeatable Banzuke isn't Ninja Warrior (suffering, as it does, from the lack of All Things Nagano), it is thoroughly entertaining in much the same "how do they DO that?" way.
Back to Mass Effect. G4 also has this little tidbit about the new DLC for the game. I'd be very interested in seeing BiowWare continue providing this kind of downloadable content as a bridge between this first game and the sequel.
